Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Veritas Cyber (“the service”, “we”, “us”) at veritas-cyber.com. By using the service you agree to them.
What the service is — and isn’t
Veritas Cyber is a self-assessment and document-generation tool. You answer questions about your own business against the ASD Essential Eight Maturity Model, and we turn your answers into an indicative maturity snapshot and supporting documents.
The service is not a certification, audit, or guarantee of security or insurance outcomes, and is not legal or insurance advice. Results reflect the information you provide and are only as accurate as your answers. You are responsible for verifying and implementing the controls described, and for your own security and compliance decisions. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in access secure. You must be authorised to act for the business you assess.
Subscriptions and payments
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are processed securely by Stripe.
- The Starter plan is billed monthly and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- The one-time Compliance Pack is a single payment for document generation from your current assessment.
- Except where required by Australian Consumer Law, payments are non-refundable. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and for your own business. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service or its generated documents.
Your content
You retain ownership of the information you enter and the documents generated for you. You grant us permission to process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for security incidents, breaches, or insurance outcomes affecting your business. The service is provided on an “as is” basis. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
